The reason why I added Ngaa Rangi Tekau Maa Rua is because we believe that, the Pīwaiwaka is a messenger from Ngaa Rangi Tekau Maa Rua. If the Pīwaiwaka gets close to you, it’s giving you a warning of what’s going to happen in the future and if you’ve seen the Pīwaiwaka, it has twelve feathers on its tail showing the signs of Ngaa Rangi Tekau Maa Rua.
